New in YA!

The New shelf in YA is at full capacity, but another batch of books is coming in soon, so many of these will have to be taken out of NEW status! While you can certainly check them out when they are no longer "new", come check them out now while they still have that new book feel! You'll find fiction (mostly organized by genre/color) on display here with New Non-Fic and Graphic Novels on the opposite side and the book tree to the right! Some fun books to look for in this photo are the 3rd in the Legendborn series: Oathbound by Tracy Deonn, a fresh copy of Zombies Vs. Unicorns, and two copies of Death at Morning House by Maureen Johnson, so you and a friend can both read the same book at the same time and discuss! Remember to grab a Sammy the Snail bookmark that has the guide to the YA fiction genres and label colors!
But wait, there's more! These are NOT the only new books in YA! A lot of the new 2026 Sequoyahs have made their way onto the racks that face this colorful collection of new fiction! You can find these titles, as well as links to both Intermediate and High School Sequoyah masterlists, on the slider on the Teen Resources page. We are still waiting on a couple of titles to arrive, but I will begin featuring one of the 29 titles each week, so be sure to look out for those posts!
