Hey all Teen Readers, April is Poetry Month!
So, people have pretty strong opinions about poetry. Some love it and some claim they HATE it. As someone who doesn't read a lot of poetry, I don't think anyone can truly hate it. Surely it's that they don't know how much of what we consume as art IS poetry. Poetry takes on so many different forms. And while some think it MUST rhyme, it doesn't actually have to do anything other than what the poet wants it to do. Some may enjoy reading it while others prefer to hear it spoken

Teens can start applying to be a Summer Reading Volunteer! Tween Reads: Dog Man & Simon B. Rhymin'
Welcome to Tween Reads! We’re going to have a ton of fun. The suggested ages for this book club are 8 to 12 years old, but that doesn’t keep kids of any other ages from joining in on the fun.
