Did you know that the City of Duncan gets in on the fun every summer? These events are not technically a part of the Library's Summer Reading Program, BUT we do put them on the calendar because everyone should get in on the fun!

The City hosts two Summer Movie Nights in Fuqua Park each summer. This year, these events fall on Thursday, June 12th and on Thursday, July 10th. The movies have not been advertised yet, but I cannot wait to hear which ones they got this year!

Also, the City holds an amazing Fourth of July event at Abe Raizen park each year! Red, White, and Boom will be on Thursday, July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 9:30 PM and will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

If you happen to be there, make sure to find the library's outreach table! I'll be somewhere near the City of Duncan table with a prize wheel, lawn games, and Summer Reading information. And who knows what other library staff might be floating around? Make sure to grab a picture with us!

Don't you forget about me,

Jessica
