Way back in November 2024, we asked all of the kids that came to the library to vote on what they wanted the library to do in 2025. The kids wanted a Dog Man party, and that happened in January. They also wanted to have jumping stones that they could play with in the Children's Library, and those are in place now. Finally, we asked them if they wanted to have a Petting Zoo or a Mad Scientist visit for Summer Reading. This is us delivering on that last promise!
We're thrilled to say that D.T. Ranch Country from Marlow, Oklahoma will be at the library on Thursday, June 5th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Patagonian Cavy, Rabbit, Tortoise, Mini Pony, and Mini Goats!
Diana is awesome! She's taken in 40 donkeys in the 10 years she's been running the Donkey Rescue, and the petting zoo events help her fund that. She's taken in donkeys, tortoises, emus, mini pigs, horses, and even hamsters!
What animal are you most excited for?
Patagonian Cavy
Rabbit
Tortoise
Mini Pony
The Duncan Public Library reminding you, help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered. Goodbye everybody!
