Have you ever been interested in how we cover books, mend damaged items, add items to the catalog, or just about anything else that we do? Now's your chance to ask!
Library staff will be leading two "Library Arts" programs to answer all of your library questions. On Friday, June 20th at 4:00 PM staff will be leading a program for adults (but other ages welcome!). We'll cover basic mending, cataloging, and what all we do to books to get them ready to go out on the shelves (there's probably more than you think!).
On Tuesday, July 22nd at 11 AM and 1 PM, Misty will be leading a Teens-only version of this program for teens between 12 and 18 years old.
We'd love to have you come and learn about the art of getting items ready for the library!
What do you want to learn about?
How we mend damaged books
How we prep books for going on the shelf
How we catalog books to be found in the computer
A secret fourth thing that I'll ask about at the event!
